Red Cross Opens Shelter For Evacuees in Hamilton
The Red Cross asks those who wish to aid disaster relief efforts in Hamilton to send a monetary donation, rather than supplies.
Our shelter is being overrun with in-kind donations, which is causing problems for the shelter management. While the Red Cross certainly appreciates the generous intent behind these donations, the best way to help us right now is by making a donation at redcross.org/montana, or by calling 1-800-272-6668. People can also send a check to American Red Cross of Montana, 1300 28th Street South, Great Falls, MT 59405. We appreciate and thank everyone for their support!
· There is currently only one Red Cross shelter for evacuees in Hamilton. That shelter is located in the First Baptist Church on Cooper Road. The Red Cross will open additional shelters should that be necessary.
