According to the Great Falls Tribune, Larry Salois (acting as conservator for his mother, Shirley) and Tonbridge Power have reached a settlement that will allow for the construction of the Montana Alberta Tie Line to be constructed across the property owned by Shirley Salois.

Larry Salois and Tonbridge Power Co. have have settled a condemnation lawsuit related to the Montana Alberta Tie Line, the two sides announced Tuesday.Salois, as conservator for his mother Shirley, has executed easements on her property to allow for the construction of MATL across his property.

The settlement was made possible by the Aug. 4 decision by the Montana Department of Environmental Quality moving the approved construction corridor away from tepee rings on the Salois property.

Salois and MATL’s James Kemp said terms of the settlement are confidential.
