Shelby To Celebrate Our Most Abundant Resource
The Shelby Kiwanis Annual Kite Festival's on the way, & this year's the 10th anniversary of the festival. It's set to go on Saturday, June 14th, 2 weeks from this Saturday. Per usual, it's a FREE family friendly celebration of our most abundant resource, old Mr. Wind. This year's the kite festival moved to a NEW location, 36 City Shop Road. Be sure & look for the signs. You'll want to bring along your picnic basket and/or lawn chairs between 10 &3, on Saturday, the 14th, & make a fun day of it. Don't worry about a thing, they'll have plenty of vendors with their wares & goodies for sale. This afternoon (Thurs) at 2:30, Jack Widmar, from the Shelby Kiwanis, will be my guest to share even more information on this summer's 10th Annual Shelby Kiwanis Kite Festival. May the City Shop Road rise up to meet you, & may the wind be at your back...
