After 29 years on the force, this officer decided to ride off into the sunset -- or is that bogey into it?

To celebrate his retirement after 29 years on the job, El Paso County (Colo.) Sheriff's Deputy Tony Scherb starred in this video in which he dances along to Silentó's "Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)" while in an elevator. Some of his co-workers hop on to help him -- not that he needs it. Of course, they manage to hold off on dancing when their boss walks on, adding more levity to what is already a great video.

The video is more proof that people simply love it when police prove, that in addition to enforcing the law, they can show off a human side, too.

Considering how many millions of views this video has racked up, maybe more police departments ought to consider doing something unique like this.

As for why Scherb made this video, Jacqueline Kirby, media relations manager for the sheriff's office, told TODAY, "We just thought, 'Hey, let's do something fun to celebrate something fun to celebrate his retirement.'"

Mission accomplished.
