A Sunburst 8th grader outlasted the field of 42 spellers Tuesday night in Sunburst at the Toole County spelling bee.   In fact it was the second win in a row for Trevor Cullen.   Samantha Aklestad of Shelby (Galata) finished second and third was Haylee Koon of Sunburst.  We learned this morning that the Glacier County Spelling Bee will be Monday afternoon starting at 3:30 in the Browning Elementary School Gymnasium.

I don't think it was intentional but it was funny when one young man asked pronouncer Dr. Alan Bridge......"could you spell that for me?"  No, said the Doctor but I will use it in a sentence for you.

We also have now the results of the Liberty County spelling Bee from Tuesday night.   The results are even more dominating considering that Brooke Woods was the winner for the third year in a row and like Cullen will represent the County in the State Spelling Bee.  Second place in Liberty County was Samantha May and third went to Kelsyn Lohr.
