2 Year’s Diagnosed With Leukemia Benefit Is In Power

Two year old Otto Sommerfeld, the son of Gus & Holly Somerfeld, of Power, (Gus is from Power) was diagnosed with leukemia this past November. Otto's currently undergoing treatment at Children's Hospital of Colorado, & is recovering from a stem cell transplant this past March. A "Brave Like Otto" fundraiser is planned for this Saturday, with a pulled-pork dinner starting at 4, at the Power American Legion Hall. Free-will donations will be taken for the dinner, & a silent auction, conducted by Ross Fitzgerald, will commence at 5:30. "Name Your Price" items & "Worth a Bid" raffle items will be available too. In fact, 30 some items have been already donated so far & more are on the way in. At last report, Otto, is recovering well from the stem cell transplant but he has a long, long road ahead of him.
