CJI and Roy/Winifred gave us a little flashback this morning when Roy/Winifred tied the game at 40 with seconds left! CJI proved they can play in OT with a final of 51/50 to stay alive and wait for the loser of the Winnett/Grass Range -v- Chinook game to play tomorrow afternoon at 12:30pm...

We'll get started tomorrow with action from the Northern B Divisional Tourney in Glasgow, starting with a very important Fairfield game against Glasgow. It's important because they will be going to an all-time consecutive wins - 73. They tied a Great Falls High  record of 72 wins set in 1980-1982...

The CJI Lady Hawks gave the North Star team all they could handle through four quarters. Unfortunately, they were unable to score in the overtime, giving the Knights the 49/40 win. That puts CJI in Loser-Out Action starting in the morning (8am to be exact)...

The CJI girls will get into action first from the Four Seasons Arena in Great Falls, Wednesday at 1pm, matching up with North Star for the first game of the Northern C Divisional. We'll bring you the action from there on KZIN - 96.7 or you can LISTEN LIVE NOW...

Well, at least Class A and Class B Divisional Brackets are here. The Class C will be finalized tonight after one girls' 10C challenge (you can listen to this one on KZIN), one 7C Boys game between Stanford/Geyser and Denton; and one 9C game between Big Sandy and Chinook...

It's the District 10C Girls Basketball Tournament from Conrad, and there is one more thing to be decided! Will the Valier Panthers go on to the Divisional? Or will it be the Dutton/Brady Diamond Backs??  We'll find out tonight on KZIN - 96...

The Conrad Cowboys came out on top in the first round of the Boys 1B Basketball tournament in Shelby to start off the evening session.  The final of 49/27 puts Conrad in a semi-final battle with Rocky Boy tomorrow evening at 6:30pm. Cut Bank will fall into loser out action on Saturday morning...

The Lady Wolves will move on to meet a very formidable Fairfield Eagle team on Friday afternoon at 3pm after a 60/53 win over the Rocky Boy Morning Stars at noon today. Rocky Boy will take a break and hit the court again on Saturday at 10:30 am...

Granted, if it were a grown up doing these shots, they probably wouldn't classify as trick shots, but when the person isn't even old enough to make a sandwich, come on -- it's pretty impressive.

Another NBA coach rides off into the sunset, sort of speaking. The Phoenix Suns and head coach Alvin Gentry have parted ways.

Now we remember why we didn't make the NBA cut — we can't defy gravity.
