Movies on the roof sound more funner than "drinks on the house".That's what they're doing this summer back east in New York City, according to Peter Franklin, The Gabby Cabby. I'm going to be chewing the fat with Ol' Pete this afternoon (Wednesday) at 4:45 on the Puffman Show. The Gab Man says that open rooftop movies are back, not only in the parks, but on barges & rooftops. Perhaps this was what the Drifters were singing about back in the 60's when "Up On The Roof" was blazing up the charts! Summer IS here & it's like the Lovin' Spoonful tune, "Summer In The City". The driver of the Yellow Mobile Conveyance Lounge has a great feature this afternoon on some frozen treats specially made to keep dogs cool as his town comes out with the city's 1st Mr. Softee-style truck for pooches. The truck is called the "Yappy Treats Cart" & it's offering small-batch frozen yogurt for dogs in containers that make licking easy. I may try one of those  "Frozen Pooch-sicles while I'm enjoying Pete's True Tales this afternoon. I already know that I like to hear ANY kind of story about a Mr. Softee truck as I fondly recall the Larry David "Curb Your Enthusiasm" episode entitled "Mr. Softee"! Mr. Softee, this man is NOT! He's Peter Franklin, check out his website (pete@gabby.com), his book(s), his movies, his comic strip, television appearances, & of  course, his visit with me later this afternoon. Being humble has never been a burden for this guy!
