With National Agriculture Day coming up on Thursday, March 14th, & the theme for this year's National Agriculture Day being "Agriculture: Food for Life," I'd like to give a "SHOUT OUT" to our average Montana dairy cow. Did you know these gentle, docile animals need to be milked 2 to 3 times a day for 305 days straight! It's probably all not that surprising when one considers our Montana dairy cows produce over 100 pounds of milk per day! "Robotic" milkers ARE gaining in popularity across the country, & perhaps these will give the weary farmhand some well needed respite. Time & time again, we recognize the downright abundance provided BY Montana agriculture!
