Tough driving conditions but no major incidents yet

A quick check with law enforcement around the area and as of mid-afternoon, no major incidents had been reported.   One potentially serious situation did occur in Pondera County when a Glacier County ambulance ran into the rear end of a snow plow.

The Pondera County Sheriff's Department said that the patient in the ambulance was transported to the Pondera Medical Center and then taken to Great Falls.   There were no injuries as a result of the accident which happened around 11:20 this (Thurs.) morning on I-15 near the Collins Exchange.

Pondera County had also noted that a request had been put out for snowplows to work Mt. Hwy 1 to Heart Butte where the Warriors host Valier tonight.    Drive Safely, there is poor visibility in most all of the Golden Triangle.
