Townsquare Media, the parent company of KSEN and K96fm, announced on Thursday that it will acquire Cherry Creek Media, based on Colorado, for $18.75 million. The all-cash deal is expected to close in the third quarter of 2022, pending regulatory approval.

The deal will add 35 stations in nine cities in five western states to the Townsquare Media family. The new markets and stations include:

Under Federal Communications Commission (FCC) rules regarding the number of broadcast licenses a company can control in any given market, Townsquare Media is required to divest itself of several of its new and/or current stations in Missoula  and the Tri-Cities of Washington. It did not disclose which Missoula stations would be sold, but did say the buyers are Anderson Broadcasting of Polson, and nonprofits Legacy Broadcasting and Missoula Community Radio.

In the Tri-Cities of Washington where two stations will be placed in a divestiture trust, Townsquare owns:
