National Agriculture Day's Thursday, March 14th, & we're honoring Agriculture ALL this month at KSEN & KZIN! MAN, we do love our pork! In fact, right here at "home," the NUMBER ONE (!) produced livestock in Toole County is HOGS! Did you know that a Montana pig's gestation period is 3 months, 3 weeks & 3 days...a total of 114 days!?Compare this to the average Montana cow with a gestation period of 285 days. While true that National Ag Day is celebrated in March, here in Montana, we celebrate Agriculture every day of the year. I submit that Toole County being #1 in hogs is probably HOG HEAVEN. Probably explains why I always try to eat a lot of sugar when I'm sick because I hear "sugar cured ham...
