Opportunities Inc. of Great Falls is a Community Action Agency that not only serves Great Falls/Cascade County, but also the folks up here on the Hi Line in Toole, Glacier, Pondera, Teton, & Choteau counties. They've been around for some 47 years! Opportunities Inc. operate Head Start facilities here in Shelby & also Conrad, Choteau, & Vaughn,& has an Outreach Worker whose job it is to bring services to the outlying areas. The services available through the Outreach Worker are emergency rental, utility, medical, dental, & prescription assistance as well as the Youth Employment & Training Program. This Outreach Worker can visit with anyone in need of assistance & if Opportunities, Inc. is unable to help, the Outreach Worker may be able to refer on to another organization. The Low Income Energy Assistance Program, Energy Share, HUD Housing, Youth Employment, Head Start/Early head Start & Weatherization Programs operate of out the Great Falls office.
