Besides being spelled differently, you've got me! If YOU want a chance to learn the answer while getting a real first-hand look at both, you're invited to join First Peoples Buffalo Jump State Park, for a guided rock art hike tomorrow (Sat) morning. Between 10 & noon, a First People Buffalo Jump Ranger will lead a guided hike to the pictographs & petroglyphs found on the cliffs in the park. The park's 3.5 miles north of Ulm, just off Interstate 15, at Exit 270. For precise directions and more information visit: stateparks.mt.gov/first-people-buffalo-jump/, or take the old school way by calling 866 2217. At any rate, things will be jumpin' tomorrow morning at First peoples Buffalo Jump State Park! *I may not know the difference between a pictograph & a petroglyph, but I DO know what a phonograph record is...I play them all the time.
