Montana History at the Heritage Center

I enjoy Montana history every Tuesday evening at the Marias Heritage Center here in Shelby. The residents at the Heritage are always very nice and make me feel so welcome. I'm currently reading "Find The Bad Inn (Discovering My Family's Hidden Past) by Christy Leskovar. I met Christy several years back when she was giving a presentation at the Conrad Library. This was when her first book, "One Night in a Bad Inn" was first published. Christy is a Butte native and just completed a stellar tour promoting her newest tome. Her current book describes her research into her first book. I don't want to spoil it for you but there's a little bit of everything in this presentation. There's murder, arson, bigamy, and the Montana State Prison in Deer Lodge. Need I say more! I'll share with you more after Tuesday evening.
