KSEN/K96--Bozeman Trophy Athletes of the Week turned in big games for big results over the weekend.

Our Male Athlete of the Week not only had a huge weekend on the football field, but in fact is having a huge season.  Power/Dutton/Brady Senior Quarterback Aidan Reeve led the way to a Titan victory over Big Sandy, 51-28. In that game, Reeve passed for an impressive 354-yards. no interceptions and 6 Touchdowns.  He added 9 solo tackles on the other side of the ball.   We're told that Aidan is a straight A student at Dutton/Brady and involved with every club and organization that the school has to offer. We also had excellent nominations for Roscoe Shaw who led Conrad to a one-point win over Fairfield with 100 yds rushing and 1 TD.   And Alex Wahl of Cut Bank who had 2 interceptions and 1 TD run in Cut Bank's win over Wolf Point.

We wanted to see our Female Athlete of the Week perform in Shelby Tuesday night but unfortunately, she was out for safety purposes after colliding with a teammate, diving for a ball in play Saturday in Choteau. Prior to that, Sr. Kylie Kovatch had a strong week in conference wins over Rocky Boy and Fairfield.  Choteau Head Coach Ann Funk says Kovatch is the team's most experienced player and is heavily relied on, up on the frontline and from the serve line especially.  She takes on the given role, the Coach says and does whatever it takes to do it well." In the matches played last week, Kylie had 3 aces, 17 kills and 10 digs.  A big chunk of that in the key conference win over Fairfield.

Congratulations to our KSEN/K96--Bozeman Trophy Athletes of the Week, Sr. Aidan Reeve of Power/Dutton/Brady and Sr. Kylie Kovatch of the Choteau Bulldogs.  The Athlete of the Week is sponsored locally by McDonald's in Cut Bank. McDonald's honors our Athletes of the Week with two free value meals each.
