Our first KSEN/K96 -- Bozeman Trophy Athlete of the Week for the brand-new season, is using the speed he demonstrated last spring on the track, to score touchdowns on the football field. Power/Dutton/Brady Jr. Danny Blanchet, one of the best sprinters in the Northern Division, ran wild on the football field on the opening weekend.  Unfortunately, the effort ended in a 1-point loss for the Titans, but the performance was still "Athlete of the Week," worthy. Blanchet had 12 carries for 160 yards and 2 Td's.  He was also dangerous in the open field catching passes.   Three receptions for 50-yards and three more Touchdowns. In the 6-man Football game, talented athlete's barely ever leave the field, and it was certainly true in this case.  Blanchet recorded 13 solo tackles, 3 assists, 3 pass deflections and blocked an extra-point try.   The Titans did come up just short to West Yellowstone 52-51.
Also, up for consideration this week Shelby's Marshall Richman, 91 yards receiving and 3 Td's, and 135 yards in kickoff and punt returns.    Tadan Shook, a Cut Bank Sr. with two interceptions and a Touchdown reception.  And from Fairfield Cardell Rosencrance an interception for a Touchdown and a Td reception, and Brody Carper 2 interceptions and a TD reception in Fairfield's 41-0 win over Eureka.
