BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — Authorities say a body found near Shepherd may be that of an Illinois man kidnapped from a Billings hotel room.

Billings police are investigating 29-year-old Dejuan Laster's kidnapping last Thursday by two men claiming to be FBI agents.

Police Chief Rich St. John says investigators believe the body found Sunday is that of Laster. The Billings Gazette reports a Tuesday autopsy will confirm the cause of death and identity of the victim.

Two people have been arrested.

James Adam Walker faces charges of aggravated kidnapping and robbery and is being held without bond.

Authorities had been searching for a second person of interest in the case, Simon Jacobson.

On Monday, Billings police Lt Kevin Iffland said the U.S. Marshall Task Force in Colorado had found and arrested Jacobson.

He was being held in the Denver jail on a probation violation.
