Conrad and Shelby Softball Teams Advance
Both Conrad and Shelby will make a trip to the State B/C Softball tournament in Anaconda next week.
In the first round of the Eastern Divisional Softball tournament in Cut Bank, Shelby defeated Cut Bank 18/8; Glasgow over Shepherd 19/3; Conrad defeated Huntley Project 14/8 and Stillwater defeated Colstrip. The second round winners earned an automatic trip to Anaconda; Glasgow over Shelby 8/1 and Stillwater over Conrad 9/5. That pushed Shelby and Conrad to loser out action where Conrad defeated Shepherd 13/11 and Shelby downed Colstrip 11/1. Conrad and Shelby will meet on field two Saturday morning at 10am, while Glasgow and Stillwater will play on Field one. Saturday's games will be strictly for the purposes of seeding for the tournament, since four team will advance.
