Montana residents take a lot of pride in this state. You see it everywhere, from the shirts and hats to the stickers plastered on the back of our cars.

So here’s a fun question. For as much as we love Montana, could you name all five of our state animals?

Yep, Montana has an official state animal, a state bird, and a state fish. On top of that, we also have a state butterfly and even a state fossil.

And before you ask, no, we are not the only state with a fossil. Forty-five states actually have one. So maybe it is not as rare as it sounds, but it is still pretty cool.
