Furs Forts Mule Trains & Pondera County In The Spotlight On Saturday Sports Trivia!
Tomorrow (Sat) morning on Puff Man Sports Trivia, I'll have Janice Bergstrom Farkell's riveting new book, "Pondera County," up for grabs. The book's the continuation of community history preservation started years ago by community historians. In fact author Bergstrom, dedicated the book to her great-grandparents, the Garners, Snortlands, McLeans and Bergstroms/Borgstroms, and to her great-great grandma, Eliza Crampton Snell, who homesteaded and left stories and photographs to treasure. Janice, is a retired teacher and currently a volunteer historian for Pondera County. There has to be a "million" authentic black and white photographs in this fascinating read. If you live anywhere in our Golden Triangle, the book's a keeper for sure you'll treasure for years. Why not check out the book from Arcadia Publishing, at www.arcadiapublishing.com, and then be the first caller in at 7:30, Saturday morning with the correct answer to my sports trivia question, and you'll WIN the book! Guaranteed, once you open the book, you won't put it down. Furs, forts, mule trains and settlements, not to mention stages and the infamous Conrad brothers. See you tomorrow morning on Puff Man Sports Trivia, where the WINNING is only BEGINNING!
