KSEN/K96 Bozeman Trophy Athlete's of the Week are at the top of their game in Tennis and on the Track as we head to Divisional and State competition this weekend.

Female Athlete's of the Week have to be considered among the favorites to capture the State B-C Doubles Tennis Championship in Great Falls this weekend.

Sr.'s Alex Kraft and Duana Gobert have compiled a 21-3 record this season and have not lost to any Class B-C opponents.  Last weekend they easily won the Northern Divisional Championship, winning every match in straight sets.  The week before they took the title in the Jules Karn Invitational (formerly the Best of the West) in Missoula.   Gobert now has a career record of 83-34 combining singles and doubles and Kraft is 100-27.

Our Male Athlete of the Week could hardly contain his excitement on the prospect of winning a Team Championship for his Shelby Coyotes.  Sr. Paul Bielawski was the biggest contributor to that title as he took firsts in the 800m, 1600m & the 3200m.  It wasn't even necessary that he run the 1600 since he has already qualified for State in that event, but more points for the team was on his mind.  Bielawski's best time this season in the 1600 places him 3rd best among Class B runners and his best time in the 3200 puts him 2nd among Class B runners.
