HELENA – Ten new Montana specialty license plates and one redesigned specialty plate are now available, announced Motor Vehicle Division Administrator Brenda Nordlund today. The plates can be ordered from county treasurer offices.

“These specialty plates offer drivers a more personal alternative to the standard-issue license plate, and they are a great fundraising opportunity for the sponsor organizations,” Nordlund said.

Montana State Parks redesigned their Fish, Wildlife and Parks Foundation plate to incorporate a new logo. Rocky Mountain College issued a new plate in the Education category that replaces their former green-and-white Collegiate plate.

The ten new specialty license plates:

  •  Bitter Root Humane Association
  • Blackfeet Tribe
  • Community Medical Center Foundation
  • Eureka Public Schools
  • Friends of the Wild Swan
  • Greater Yellowstone Coalition
  • March of Dimes
  • Montana Swimming, Inc.
  • Rocky Mountain College
  • Whitefish Lake Institute

The new plates and information about each sponsoring organization and how they use the donations can be viewed on the Motor Vehicle Division's Plate Designs and Fees website. A report showing the quarterly total of donations collected for each sponsoring organization is available on the Motor Vehicle Division's MVD by the Numbers website.
