Award winning author, Christy Leskovar, is returning to her home state of Montana, to give speaking presentations in both Great Falls, & Helena, this week. When Christy, was 9 years of age, her family moved out to Kennewick, Washington. Fast forward to 1997, & she was back home in Butte, for a family funeral that would be life changing for her. Christy, went on to write 3 riveting reads... East of the East Side, One Night in a Bad Inn & Finding the Bad Inn. I submit, One Night in a Bad Inn, was one of my all time favorite reads, & I still apply some "life lessons" I learned from the book even today. Christy, will be my special guest this afternoon (Mon) at 2:30, on the Puff Man Show, to fill us in on her upcoming talk & presentation set for 6 o'clock this Thursday, in Great Falls, at Cassiopeia Books, 606 Central Avenue. She's also scheduled for this Wednesday evening, at 6, in Helena, at the Lewis & Clark Genealogical Society, Lewis & Clark Library. I met Christy, years back when she gave a presentation in Conrad, at the library, & besides being a compelling author, she's one compelling & fascinating speaker. Looking forward to touching base with Christy, this afternoon at 2:30, on KSEN AM 1150!
