Where do you take your kids in the summer to get some fresh air? I take my kids to the park and am here to tell you the best parks in North Central Montana. The best parks are sometimes hard to find...but you will see the top five best parks in North Central Montana after the jump.
Legion Park Conrad Montana
Legion Park has the best playground equipment and location I could find in Conrad. Legion Park is located across the street from the swimming pool and right behind Gary & Leo's and the Keg, in a great residential area. Legion Park had a lot of beautiful grass that the City of Conrad employees were getting the sprinklers going for the first time this year to keep that green grass green!
Sunburst Elementry Playground
Sunburst Elementary Playground is located near the center of town by the new PM Quilting Shop. This Park has the best playground equipment in Sunburst. If I were to be in Sunburst with my kids this is the park I would choose. Sunburst Elementary Playground's assets are its location and great equipment!
James A. Johnson Park - Shelby
- Williamson Park - Marias River
Williamson Park is an excellent Park to take your kids of all ages! There is playground equipment, room to run around, and a river to swim in or float! There are bathrooms at Williamson Park which is a definite plus because of it's location for far from town. Williamson Park would be a great place for a picnic or even camping!

- Splash Park in my opinion is the way to go in the hot summer months. Cut Bank had a great idea to turn their baby pool into a "Splash Pool"! I had no idea this great place existed until I started this project. Now I am pretty sure my two kids and I will be headed to Cut Bank a few times this summer for an adventure at Splash Park!
