Body of missing woman recovered at Mission Lake

The Glacier County Sheriff's Department confirmed this (Tues.) afternoon that they have recovered the body of Fuki Nishibayashi from MIssion Lake between Browning and Cut Bank.

The 75-year old woman had been missing since last November when she and two others were on a fishing trip at the lake.  A customs and border protection helicopter on routine air operations spotted the body of a female in the ice column at Mission Lake around 8 am Tuesday morning. Glacier county deputies and Blackfeet law enforcement officers were able to recover the body.

One of the members of that fishing party was found last November but the third member, Danny Heyland, is still missing.
