It's not the only subject on the tour but it may be a very pertinent one with the harvest underway and grain headed for the bin.

The Glacier County Conservation District will host their 2015 Crop Tour Tuesday evening starting at 5:30.   Tour participants will meet at the Cut Bank Civic Center and then make the convoy to the Bradley Farms where you'll get an update of the crop variety trials that have been taking place there.   John Miller with the MSU Western Triangle Research Center will give the presentation.

At 7 pm, a short break with Hors d'oeuvres and beverages at the Cut Bank City Park, sponsored by CHS.   At 7:30, Dr. David Weaver, MSU, will give a presentation on controlling insect infestations in grain bins.  And at 8:30, Stephen Vantassel of the Montana Department of Ag will give a presentation on ground squirrel control.
