As we told you earlier, influential guitarist Ronnie Montrose died Saturday after a long battle with prostate cancer — and it didn't take long for rock luminaries and music insiders to react on Twitter. Here's a sampling (we'll have more as they're posted).

 

Saddened to hear the passing of friend Ronnie Montrose. He was a wonderful person & an amazing guitar player, I will miss you dear Ronnie.
