I've been working on the air since 1983 doing everything from News to airshifts to Sports Play-by-Play. I graduated from Wadsworth High School in Wadsworth, Ohio and am still a bigIndians, Browns and Buckeyes fan. I also DJ lots of weddings, parties and events. I attended a Jr. college in Northeastern Oklahoma in Miami, Okla. and then spent a year at Brown Institute of Broadcasting in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. That was fun.

Local entrepreneur Pete Woods of Chester was looking for a way to save some time on the number of trips he had to make to service his stripper wells near the Sweetgrass Hills. Radio & Music still rule the road, but what music?
Having been in the radio business for a lot of years and a live DJ for just about as long, one of the main questions always on the table is what music does the audience want to hear.
A national radio consulting firm said this week that every 10-15 minutes should be representative of your station and stations should lose weaker songs, in any given period, but not the best-tested titles...

Brownfields Clean up Grant in Cut Bank & Smoke
I just finished a couple of stories on the Cut Bank area. The smoke filled air in Cut Bank is most likely coming from wildfires in Alberta. Two of the blazes are near oil sands facilities and have been burning for 6 days now. Residents in the Cut Bank have been asking where the smoke is coming from and it appears Alberta is the answer...
