Up this morning before dawn - we trekked to where we thought the bus stop was - guess what??? Not so much - we went the other direction at the corner and missed the bus. The good news it wasn't far to the subway station, so we just walked (10 Montanans walking down the street in Queens NY at 4am). We got on the right train and the transfer even went fairly well. We made our way to the corner of 71st and Central Park West. We were there about 6:30 and got a great spot right behind the barricades - we put our blankets on the sidewalk and proceeded to befriend the good folks around us.

We went once for coffee and then settled in for the 2.5 hour wait for the parade. It was worth it! The start of the parade featured Sonic -

It was everything we had hoped for... We saw balloons, marching bands,

 

 

 

 

dancers, cheerleaders, clowns... awesome!

This is BY FAR - my best Thanksgiving ever! I even got to see my baby - up close and personal...

It was a lot of fun!  We loved every minute of it!  The weather was great, the parade was everything we hoped it would be.
