
FDA RECALL: Popular Baby Food Sold in Montana Stores Can Destroy Your Baby’s Immune System
Baby parents are going to want to listen up after a new recall was issued on a popular food item for little ones.
If consumed, you could cause some serious and even permanent damage to your baby.
Popular Baby Food Sold in Montana Stores Gets Recalled

According to the FDA, "IF Copack LLC d.b.a. Initiative Foods (“Initiative Foods”) is recalling one lot of the 'Tippy Toes' brand Apple Pear Banana Fruit puree (“Product”) due to elevated levels of patulin."
What Is Patulin?
Patulin is a Grade 3 carcinoge according to Right for Education (R:Ed) and can affect all sorts of foods. If consumed, R:Ed says patulin can cause all sorts of problems "including embryotoxicity, teratogenic effects, carcinogenicity, mutagenicity, gastrointestinal inflammation, immune suppression, ulcers, and bleeding."
The recall notice for the Apple Pear Banana Fruit puree also says that consuming patulin could lead to nerve damage.

You know, all things we would never want our baby to experience or have to deal with.
"The 'Best By' (expiration) date is found on the bottom of each plastic tub," the recall notice says,
"The recalled Product will have a date stamped as 'BB 07/17/2026.' The package is also marked with the package code 'INIA0120' as shown below:"
