What kind of a name is THAT for a book?! I think it's a good one & so does M.D. Pamela Wible. Dr. Wible (she's a lady doctor) has just published her new book, "Pet Goats & Pap Smears-101 Medical Adventures to Open Your Heart & Mind". The infamo
With the school year in full swing, getting the small fry into the routine of getting a good night's sleep is now more important than ever. But as 90% of high school students say they feel groggy during the school day from lack of sleep & 25% of students report falling asleep during class at least once each week, for many parents, getting a child to bed is a nightly struggle & getting them to remain in bed & asleep throughout the night can be even more difficult. That's where one of my "fishing correspondents" is this week. Our Tiber Lake reporter Dallas Denter is up on the Last Frontier doing some serious fishing. I miss him on the Old Fishing Hole but he should return soon and hopefully with a "big Alaskan catch" for "bragging rights"
I feel like I'm surrounded by cards these days. First off, we're into another exciting "Let It Ride" contest season right here on Good As Gold-KSEN and if you haven't played the contest yet this summer, I invite you to call in (434 5241) when you hear the "cue to call"
If you enjoy having a glass of the amber brew as much as I do (I'm The Puffman), you'll want to check out Robin Shephard's sudsiest book ever! It's "Minnesota's Best Breweries And Brewpubs-Searching for the Perfect Pint" from the University Of Wisconsin Press
Or in this case, moving on down...depending on what direction you're coming from! "Recycle Shelby" has moved to their new location thanks to a partnership with the Montana Department of Transportation
