How Much of the College Basketball Tip-Off Marathon Did You Watch? — Sports Survey of the Day

The annual 24-hour college hoops tip-off marathon lasted for closer to 30 hours this year, with games ranging from 7 p.m. on Monday to nearly 1 a.m. on Wednesday. How much of the event did you watch?

There are some people that stayed up all night on Monday watching games such as New Mexico State-Hawaii, taking short naps at halftime, to take in every minute, even while at work. Don’t worry — we won’t tell your boss if you don’t tell ours. However, people with that level of dedication (or insanity, depending on your point of view), are few and far between.

Meanwhile, there are also plenty of fans who don’t want to be bothered with watching Hartford and Florida Gulf Coast at 7 a.m., and just want to see the best players in the sport square off. Those fans (and non-gluttons for punishment) probably just made sure to tune into the two Champions Classic games and nothing more.

Then there are avid basketball fans who didn’t wish to ruin their day-to-day lives for obscure college basketball. Those fans watched the Monday night games until they were tired, slept like normal people, then watched more games upon waking up.
