Did You Watch the ALCS or the Presidential Debate? — Sports Survey of the Day

As much as we would like to believe that the world revolves around sports, there are other issues at hand. The 2012 presidential election might even be bigger than the baseball playoffs. Might.As of last night, the New York Yankees are on the brink of elimination after losing game three of the ALCS 2-1. The Tigers now have nearly insurmountable a 3-0 series lead.

But while a lot of us were checking that out, many others were watching a different fall classic: the second presidential debate between Barack Obama and Mitt Romney. In the future, it would be nice if whoever plans these things would do a better job. We don’t want to be bad citizens, but we also can’t be bad fans. Don’t make us choose!
