Are you afraid of roller coasters? I get nervous just walking by the merry-go-around at a carnival. My special guest this afternoon (Friday) at 4:35 on the Puffman Show will be Pete Trabucco. Fear of roller coasters? I'm fearful that I won't be able to pronounce the guy's last name! Pete was once afraid of the ol' leap-the-dips but now he's eager to tell our listeners how he overcame his fear and went on to author "America's Top Roller Coasters and Amusement Parks." I'll give away a copy of Pete's book during the interview this afternoon. I had an opportunity to hear this fellow several weeks ago on a Minnesota radio station and I found him more than interesting. I wrote down all the questions they asked him and I figure this is an EASY way out of doing a lot of show preparation and/or research. This should be as easy as falling off the ferris wheel. He's an aviation expert, amusement park enthusiast, a vacation expert, licensed private pilot, author and former Chief of Staff for the New Jersey State General Assembly. He's done everything except drive a New York taxi cab and after I get through with him this afternoon, he'll probably wish he was doing that! Amusement park rides are always fun to watch and talk about and who knows, I might find out how to overcome my fears in order that I might go on ALL the rides next summer at our four county Marias Fair.
