Do you have an old restored farm tractor? Next month (July), our Marias Museum here in Shelby will be presenting exhibits featuring agriculture, and they'll be showing restored farm tractors. There are some real beauties out here in the Golden Triangle. If you have a tractor that you'd like to show, contact the museum at 432 2914. The museum would also enjoy obtaining some old saddles to include in their agriculture exhibit. Our Marias Museum is a real treasure...whenever I go over, I like to look at their old radio and railroad exhibits. It seems like every time one visits the museum, you notice some exhibits/items/old newspapers that you didn't see before. Every visit's an adventure. I try to keep on top of what's happening at the museum and "Lean" Dean Hellinger from the Marias Museum is kind enough to drop by the Puffman Show once a month to keep us abreast of what's happening there. I encourage you to visit and visit often. Their Ice Cream Social will be coming up in July and that's always more than fun. In the meantime, if you have a restored farm tractor(s) and/or old saddle(s), give the museum a call. Better yet, stop by and visit and take advantage of this real gem that we have right here in our community.
