Detroit Lions wide receiver Nate Burleson broke his arm, but when it comes to eating he won’t have to break the bank.

Burleson has received a year’s worth of free pizza coupons from DiGiorno after he broke his arm getting into a crash last month while trying to prevent a pizza from falling out of his car seat.

DiGiorno sent Burleson a letter with the coupons letting him know about the deal:

Hello Nate,

We hope you are feeling better after your recent car accident and are on the road to recovery! DiGiorno Pizza understands the challenges that come with carryout and delivery so we’re sending you a gift along with a year supply of DiGiorno pizza so you can skip carryout.”

Burleson showed off his new coupons on Instagram:

He also shared the news via Twitter and spurred on the conversation with a new hashtag, #NoMoreLateNightPizzaRuns.

Let’s just hope drivers don’t start copying this idea. We’d hate to see people get hurt in the name of frozen pizza.
