The Triangle Squares Quilt Guild will be meeting tonight (Tuesday) at 6:30 on-the-dot over at the Shelby Senior Center. One of my all time favorite tunes is "The Autumn Leaves" by Roger Williams, & the "Square" theme this evening will be "Leaves & Trees." Sharon Bertholote will be providing tonight's program. An election of officers will take place at the meeting. As the late Roger Williams used to say: The falling leaves drift by the window. The autumn leaves of red & gold. I see your lips, the summer kisses. The sunburned hand I used to hold. Since you went away the days grow long. And soon I'll hear old winter's song. But I miss you most of all, my darling. When autumn leaves start to fall." Who says the ol' Puffman doesn't have a heart!
