I'll be returning to the Marias Heritage Center here in Shelby tonight (Tuesday) to read & share more Montana History. Marie Ostrem filled in at the rostrum for me last week &, to the best of my knowledge unless she was slacking, continued on with a brand new read we just started up at the Heritage. Per usual, it's a MONTANA book & the true life story of the 1st white woman born long ago down in Great Falls. From what I can tell, it's a slice of life at it's bitter best with all the scars of a fractured childhood to say the least. This book, from what I read, should be rated "R" for ribald. Hopefully the Marias Heritage Center residents share my all encompassing sense of "telling it like it is." If they don't, I assume "Ostrum might be back at the Rostrum" sooner than expected! I'll tell you more about the book next week on my Puffman Blog if "they" don't burn it first! & I'll see some of you this evening at 6 o'clock SHARP for Montana History & some "armchair traveling" up at the Heritage.
