March Madness is a time for the improbable upsets and a chance for the best of the best to rise to the occasion. Sadly, it’s also a time for several schools to watch from their couches.
We are smack in the middle of the phenomenon known as March Madness where the titans of the sport duke (not Duke) it out for the title of national champion, as a field of 68 will be whittled down to one.
Odds are you’ve already worked the eraser on your pencil down to a nub while trying to pick your bracket. And try though you might, picking a perfect bracket will not happen.
'Still NYC,' a short film about New York City by Ynon Lan, is the result of hundreds (thousands?) of photographs Lan took throughout the five boroughs on a recent trip. Mostly Manhattan, from the looks of it — not a ton of yellow cabs to be found in the Bronx — though Brooklyn and Queens do have their share of gorgeous brownstones with photogenic front doors.
