Well, so far, so good. We flew in to LaGuardia late last night, but didn't have any difficulty getting to the house we're renting in Queens for our home-away-from-home Thanksgiving celebration.
It's warm here, I'm guessing it's in the 50s, but pouring down rain when we arrived last night (early this morning).
We grabbed a cab at the taxi stand outside the airport and made our way into the heart of Queens where we'll be spending our nights on this trip.
I'm going to try to navigate the public transit system today. Armed with our MTA cards (7day unlimited rides on the subways and busses), we'll head for Manhattan in time to catch that dress rehearsal.
I don't have photos to upload yet, it was dark and pouring down rain when we arrived! It's overcast today and the weaterman says more rain. We're looking forward to a better forecast tomorrow!
The Spirit of America Cheerleaders will have a dress rehearsal this afternoon and I'll be there. I'll try to catch some video and post it in the morning. Stay tuned!
