Wow. You've gotta see these pictures as a double rainbow appeared over New York City early Monday evening on the 22nd anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks.
The weather has been absolutely perfect! We spent the day visiting the 911 Memorial, then we attended the Rockette's Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall. I was absolutely WONDERFUL.
Radio City Music Hall is beautiful, I recommend seeing it if you are ever in the City...
Up this morning before dawn - we trekked to where we thought the bus stop was - guess what??? Not so much - we went the other direction at the corner and missed the bus. The good news it wasn't far to the subway station, so we just walked (10 Montanans walking down the street in Queens NY at 4am)...
Today was interesting day! We started with a short, brisk walk to the grocery story (it took over an hour), when we returned to our flat in Queens, we made the plan for the day. It wasn't difficult, we were going to take the Q38 bus to the Metropolitan Avenue Subway station, then ride the subway into the city. Easy right? Well, not entirely. We missed the first Q38 bus and the second one was
Well, so far, so good. We flew in to LaGuardia late last night, but didn't have any difficulty getting to the house we're renting in Queens for our home-away-from-home Thanksgiving celebration.
It's warm here, I'm guessing it's in the 50s, but pouring down rain when we arrived last night (early this morning)...
