This President’s Day brings us a fairly light sports schedule, what with the NBA off due to the All-Star Game.

The league doesn’t return to action for another day, so the big game may be in Pittsburgh, where the Panthers face Notre Dame in a Big East men’s hoops battle. The teams are winding down their Big East tenures before heading into the ACC. This contest, though, can do wonders for the winner if they should wind up on the tournament bubble, especially with both squads coming off of weekend losses.

Here’s a complete look at Monday’s sports schedule. All times Eastern:

NCAA Men’s Basketball Top 25 (NOTE: Rankings as of press time)

West Virginia at (10) Kansas State  9 p.m. (ESPN)

(21) Notre Dame at (16) Pittsburgh 7 p.m. (ESPN)

Ottawa at New Jersey 1 p.m.

Philadelphia at New York Islanders 1 p.m.

Nashville at Colorado 3:00 p.m.

Carolina at Montreal 7:30 p.m.

Toronto at Florida 7:30 p.m.

Calgary at Phoenix 9 p.m.

Columbus at Anaheim 10 p.m.
