Memories Are All That Remain

I’ll be sharing some “memories” from the 1931 Waldron Creek Fire this evening (Tuesday) as I read & share MORE Montana History up at the Marias Heritage Center here in Shelby. We’re currently reading Dr. Charles Palmer’s “firebrand” book, “Montana’s Waldron Creek Fire: The 1931 Tragedy & The Forgotten Five,” pertaining to the devastating Waldron Creek Fire west of Choteau. Dr. Palmer shines a light on this important story, FINALLY honoring the heroic sacrifice that led to critical changes in wild land firefighting. See you at 6 o’clock SHARP tonight for more Montana History at the Heritage…I have a “burning desire” to be on time too!
