Pour Me A Cup Of Joe

TODAY, Tuesday, September 29th, is "National Coffee Day," not to be confused with "International" Coffee Day which is coming up THIS Thursday. It's a double whammy for sure this week for coffee drinkers worldwide & right here in our Golden Triangle! I've done some research for my Puffman Blog & found that Finland is #1 for coffee consumption per capita. Those fun loving Fins consumed 21.8 pounds of the stuff in 2014! Sweden, the Netherlands, Norway & Slovenia round out the top 5 coffee-consuming nations. Shame, shame...the United States didn't even break the top 10 (we ranked 25th) for coffee consumption in 2014. Americans consumed 6.8 pounds of the brown brew per capita last year, the same amount as the citizens of France. Italians fared only slightly more...7.5 pounds, coming in at #21 on the list. How much java do you jam & how do you like your Joe? I like mine black, no sugar, no cream, & strong enough to grow hair on my chest! I'd like to hear from you on my Puffman Blog.
