The Lunch Is FREE On Friday

Who said, "there's no such thing as a free lunch?" There IS a FREE Community Lunch in Conrad, this Friday! The lunch will be hosted by the First Presbyterian Church, corner of 4th Avenue, & Maryland Street, in Conrad, this Friday, from 11:30 to 1. Everyone's welcome to come by. As far as "no such thing as a free lunch?" It was actually an unsigned fable, but a Quote Investigator found evidence that it was most likely written by Walter Morrow, editor-in-chief, of the Southwestern Group of Scripps-Howard Newspapers. Mr. Morrow's actual words were, "There ain't no such thing as a free lunch!" Obviously, Mr. Morrow, had never visited Conrad, but he might of had a good future as a radio copywriter...
