The Woman Is From Butte

Celebrated national author Christy Leskovar will be joining me this afternoon (Thursday) at 4:35 on the Puffman Show. I met this Butte native some year back when she was giving a presentation at the Conrad Library on her 1st book, “One Night in a Bad Inn”. Christy’s 2nd book was the story behind the story, “Finding the Bad Inn: Discovering My Family’s Hidden Past” & I thoroughly enjoyed both books. In fact, I was able to read them both during Montana History at the Marias Heritage Center. I received some good news this week from Christy, her 2nd book, “Finding the Bad Inn” is NOW out in paperback as well as hardcover & is available on Amazon & at Barnes & Noble. They’re both true & great reads to boot. There’s murder, mayhem, a fire, the Montana State prison in Deer Lodge, a dead body & Christy’s family smack dab in the middle of this mess. And you thought you had a crazy family! I’ll be giving away a copy of Christy’s “Finding the Bad Inn” right after our interview this afternoon on KSEN AM 1150.
