CUT BANK) – Post-season honors for our KSEN/K96 Bozeman Trophy Athlete of the week, who was nominated during the regular season but didn't get the pick in that particular week.

KSEN believes, however, the accomplishments throughout the season warrant the selection now. Peter Hamilton Jr. of Cut Bank was already known to opposing offenses as he led the Cut Bank defense with well over 100 tackles and, at the end of last year was named a first team all-conference, all-state linebacker. Once he moved into the offensive backfield later in the year, opposing defenses also became very aware of his skills... strength and speed. In just three games, Hamilton carried the ball 31 times for 300 yards and six touchdowns. He also kicked 38-41 extra points and Cut Bank head coach, and dad, Peter Hamilton said those extra points were huge in a number of Cut Bank victories during the season.

In addition to the defensive honors, Hamilton Jr. was also a first team all-conference, all-state running back on offense and he was the 1b District's first team all-conference kicker.   CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR KSEN/K96—BOZEMAN TROPHY ATHLETE OF THE WEEK, SR.
