OUR KSEN/k96--Bozeman trophy Athlete of the Week has continually been described to us as a real team player. Another senior who sets the tone for the rest of his team. We had an unusually high number of excellent nominations this week, but the Athlete of the Week award goes to Conrad Sr. Carsen Sullivan. Carsen was also nominated a week ago and he had bigger numbers from the Cowboys win over Deer lodge, but he continued to impress fans and Coaches.   He has been voted by his teammates as "Player of the Week," in both contests and one of his nominators told us, "His impact has been undeniable."
From the Deer Lodge game, Carsen carried the ball 9 times for 131 yards, a career best. His biggest impact came with 3 receiving Td's.   On the other side of the ball, he had 2 interceptions and returned one of those for a Touchdown. We don't have individual stats for the Wolf Point game, but Carsen on the season has carried the ball 35 times for 317 yards.  He has 305 yards receiving on 14 catches and 5 touchdowns
We also had a nomination for Conrad's Ledger Martin who broke loose on a 77-yard TD run in the win over Wolf Point. We also had a nomination for CJI's Levi Nelson who had a big game over St. Peter's Catholic.  Nelson had 3 rushing TD's, a 43-yard receiving TD and over 100 yards in returns on special teams.  Add 3 pass break-ups and 9 tackles and you have one heckuva big game. And from Fairfield, Travis Cartwright who had 5 catches for 111 yards.  He added 7 tackles and an interception on defense.   Finally, we had a nomination come in for Choteau QB Cole Wood who led Choteau to a lopsided win over Harlem.  Wood passed for 220 yards and 4 touchdowns.
Congratulations to our KSEN/K96-- Bozeman Trophy Athlete of the Week, Sr. Carsen Sullivan of Conrad.  The Athlete of the Week is sponsored locally by McDonald's in Cut Bank. McDonald's honors our athlete's with two free value meals. KSEN encourages all fans, parents & coaches to nominate an Athlete of the Week.
