After a long break between Basketball and Wrestling and a weather delayed spring, we do have our first KSEN/K96—Bozeman Trophy Athlete of the Week from the spring sports.

The new Browning Baseball team has played two games but other than that, Tennis is the only sport that has been able to hold any tournaments and that was largely due to Cut Bank converting their indoor gym to two tennis courts.

In the two Tennis events that have been held, our Athlete of the Week has not lost a singles match against 5 opponents.  Conrad Head Coach Paul Schilling says Jr. Abby Hutton has played in Cut Bank and in Conrad last Fri. and is now undefeated at 5-0.

Abby is a State Qualifier from last year and Coach Schilling says he believes she will be “one of the best in our division this year.”  So far that statement definitely holds true as Hutton has won every opportunity she’s had and also has a win in doubles competition.

KSEN / K96 is looking forward to the day when spring sports get going full blast and we remind you that we’re always thankful to receive your nomination for Athlete of the Week.  Just e-mail markdaniels@townsquaremedia.com

Congratulations to This week’s Athlete of the Week, Jr. Abby Hutton of Conrad.  The Athlete of the Week is sponsored locally by McDonald’s in Cut Bank. McDonald’s honors our Athletes of the Week with two free Value Meals.
